Tracie is originally from a tiny town just outside Denver, Colorado. She started playing cello at the age of 12 and later went to the University of Denver getting a BM in Cello performance. She then was accepted at Columbia College Chicago where she graduated with a MFA in Music Composition for the Screen. She now lives in Los Angeles as a composer, orchestrator and cellist.
