Composer and pianist/singer/songwriter Nomi Abadi was raised on Glenn Gould, The Beatles, Nintendo and Bernard Herrmann. A child piano prodigy, she wrote her first suite when she was four years old, a year before her piano concert debut as five-year-old soloist with the Orange County Chamber Orchestra at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Nomi attended the Mannes School of Music (the New School) in New York City and the Orange County High School of the Art and invented the world’s first double-ended midi keytar, the NoryTM. She plays in a vintage video game cover band, Gametilians, and holds ten scoring credits to her name, including Last Dance (Josh Litman), Crowning Change (LA Film Festival), and X-Mas Unwrapping (Cartoon Network). In conjunction with composing, Nomi has acquired an impressive roster as a piano and songwriting coach, including Jackson Greenberg (composer, Cartel Land) and actress Rita Wilson.
