Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Nicholas Rousseau is a young guitar player and composer currently residing in Miami. In May 2017, he acquired a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Florida International University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has been an active musician on the jazz scene as well as a teacher at Pines Music Studio and Sounds of Excellence, where he teaches guitar to young children. In addition to Pines Music Studio, he also gives private lessons. He also leads his own Jazz trio/quartet which includes Jazz standards repertoire, original music from each member of the band, and jazz arrangements of Beatles tunes. In addition to composing jazz, he also is working on composing and arranging for television and film.
