Originally hailing from Beijing, China, Nan Zhang is a Los Angeles-based composer for film and television. She has been working as a songwriter and composer for visual media for over a decade. Having recently graduated from the acclaimed Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California, Nan acquired specialization in the genre of Film Scoring. Prior to USC, she completed her Bachelor studies in Recording Engineering from Communication University of China and also she studied Practical Composition at Central Conservatory of Music.
In recent years, most of Nan’s work has been focused on composition for Commercials, Fashion videos, TV series and films. With her unique, fresh ideas and innovative techniques in both classical and electronic music, Nan has gained a reputation in composing for high standard fashion brands, such as Canon, GUESS, BVLGARI, Cartier, Levi’s, FILA, BMW, INFINITI, Absolut Vodka and so on.
