Mal Stein is a Drummer/Percussionist/Composer. Recent projects, Accompanist for the Paul Taylor Dance Co. Joffrey Ballet and Tisch Dance. Commissioned to write music for Joffrey Ballet’s Winter White Show and frequently writes music for Modern dancers and Mid East Bellydance shows. Mal has toured throughout Europe and The U.S. playing drums and percussion and can be heard on two recent CDs: ‘Taksim live at The Montreal Jazz Festival’ and ‘Epiphany Project Live in Germany.’ Mal resides in New York City.
