John Curran is a composer and sound designer for Film, TV, Media and Theatre. Graduating from the University of Salford in Greater Manchester, with a 1st in Music Composition & Performance, John has worked exclusively within the film and music industry. John’s work has been aired on Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic, Discovery Channel; working with companies such as Rice Krispies and Well Pharmacy. John has composed music and created sound design for a number of museums across the globe; such as The National Army Museum (UK), The Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre ((Kuwait), Mleiha Archaeological Centre (UAE) and The Museum of Jurassic Marine Life (UK) . The upcoming ‘Oman, Across the ages Museum’, opening in 2021, will be the latest showcase of John’s work in this sector. He is a regular composer for global audio branding company PHMG. Moreover, John was composer for Philip Pullman’s stage adaptation of ”The Ruby in The Smoke’ for the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festival .
