I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. I come from a family of non-musicians, except for my grandfather, who never had any musical training but would always sit at the piano at my home and play songs he liked by ear. Thanks to my mom I started playing piano when I was young and fell in love with it. I graduated from college as a civil engineer but I decided that what I wanted to do was music, so I went and studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. I learned so many things there, but the most important one was this: I want to write music for the rest of my life.
