Davide Tammaro is a Composer and Guitarist from Naples, Italy. Davide holds a Degree in Classical guitar from the “San Pietro A Majella Music Conservatory” in Naples and a diploma in performance (Guitar) from the prestigious Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA. Some of the musicians/teachers Davide has had the privilege to study with include: Hal Crook, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, Jeff Galindo and Wayne Krantz to name a few. Since his early age Davide has always dedicated a lot of time to the subject of composition. Music associated with images has always been a great passion and an important part of his musical journey. In 2015, Berklee College Of Music online extension awarded Davide another scholarship (the first one was awarded to study in Boston) to further his studies in Orchestration, and composition for Film and TV. Subsequently Davide also took the Symphonic Virtual Orchestration online course created by LA based composer Marc Jovani. Currently residing in NYC Davide works as freelance composer and guitarist recording and performing for numerous artists in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Abu Dhabi and in Italy. Some festivals and media performances include: SXSW in Austin TX, MTV west coast, Radio KIIS, Bite Size TV in Los Angeles CA, Folk Festival, and Percussion festival in Boston MA, North Beach Bandshell in Miami, FL. In 2015 Davide released “Ghosts”, an album including 9 original compositions featuring some of the best musicians from the contemporary music scene.
