David (‘Dah – veed’) Murillo R. is an award-winning Colombian composer whose musical focus spans a wide variety of interests especially on composing for visual media. Currently based in LA, David has scored over 40 productions; ranging from 2016 Sundance Multi-Award Winning Between Sea and Land (Colombian feature film), to world acclaimed Nefertiti’s Daughters (Egyptian documentary), recipient of 7 awards and over 13 official selections. His music has been featured all around the world in countries like Germany, Iran, Australia, Scotland, United Kingdom, Peru and many more. After completing his Bachelor of Music at Berklee, where he was awarded the Howard Shore Scholarship and the Latin American Full-Tuition Scholarship, David was awarded the Trent Reznor Award for his groundbreaking electronics in his scores.
