Catherine Yang is a composer and music producer based in Chicago who specializes in film scoring and electronic music production. Catherine has been obsessed with music from a young age and is particularly interested in how music can be combined with visual media. Classically trained in piano, she began writing her own music in high school and branched out to writing music for film in college. Catherine also produces electronic pop music under the name Shyyness. Her debut EP is called “Hymns for a Lost Robot” (out January 1).
